Freely available satellite products and smart and cloud-based geodatainfrastructures enable fast and efficient integration of satellite-based earth observation (EO) data and techniques in international development cooperation projects. Proven tools and methods for information retrieval exist for a wide range of environmental monitoring applications.

Bring your own project

The 5-days online course with the University of Würzburg’s Department of Remote Sensing addresses practitioners interested in applying and implementing EO into their projects. The participants will learn hands-on for using up-to-date cloud-computing platforms and open-source GIS for spatio-temporal analysis of EO data in the context of international development tasks.
